My name is Hằng Đỗ, but you can call me Hannah. I’m a Vietnamese international student studied graphic design at VIU.

 

My journey to Canada started in 2019, though I was scared to live alone for the first time I have fallen in love with the Canadian cultures for kindness and acceptance. Even more here in Nanaimo, I was awestruck to be surrounded by nature, a complete difference from my hustling and bustling hometown in HoChiMinhCity. I have fallen in love with Canada, but I still love my own country dearly, so whenever possible, I like to include a little bit of my culture in my design. My passion for design very much aligns with my hobby, to be creative and explore the various way to do art, I want to be able to make people happy and give usefulness to my creation.
